Run a ten-second local input test. See microphone and computer-audio activity separately, with reported capture errors during recording.
The test does not save a meeting. Check your actual headset and meeting app before the call.
Choose 7 days, 30 days, or until you delete it before recording. Listen from matching transcript timestamps, adjust speed, and follow the passage as it plays.
Audio is deleted after successful transcription by default. Retention changes apply to new recordings.
Meeting Recovery keeps available local audio after interruption or transcription failure. Retry with your current speech settings or delete it when you are done.

A few useful answers
Audio is deleted after successful transcription by default. Choose a retention period before recording to enable playback. Failed or interrupted recordings remain available in Meeting Recovery until recovered or deleted. See the retention details.
Use its quotes and source links to check the transcript yourself. A matching quote does not guarantee a correct interpretation. Transcript or timing edits invalidate old source links; regenerate chapters to refresh them.
Yes. Plain Dictation transcribes your speech and applies vocabulary replacements without calling an AI provider. Dictation + rewrite adds optional formatting using your configured provider.
No meeting bot joins. You start the recording on your Mac and choose whether to include system audio. Make sure you have permission to record the conversation.
Choose supported cloud providers with your own credentials, Ollama or LM Studio, or Apple Intelligence when available. A local server must run on your Mac for processing to remain on that Mac. Explore setup options.
